Rook: I grew up playing Rook with my grandparents. It's a great card game. Mamaw always kept score and she'd make little notes on the tiny spiral notebooks she used. We always laughed at her, and then started making our own notes as a joke. But then we realized, like how she always wrote the year in the top right corner of all the cards she sent us, it was nice to go back and remember details about those games. I have those notebooks now. And I'll never get rid of them.
